Who runs the site
سعرالذهب.com is run by Muhammad Jahanzeb, who is responsible for its content and for correcting any errors. The site is independent: we do not buy or sell gold, and we take no payment from shops or companies to show their prices or mention them.
Where the prices come from
Prices are calculated automatically, never typed in by hand. We take the international spot price of gold and silver in US dollars per ounce from metal-market data providers and exchange rates from currency-rate providers, then calculate the price per gram of each karat in the local currency. Prices on the page update about every 5 seconds while the world market is open, with the update status and time shown next to them. The full method is on the methodology page (Arabic).
Our price and the shop price
The price on this site is a reference price for the value of the gold itself. A shop adds making charges and its own margin, and VAT may apply depending on the country. The approximate buying and selling prices and default making charges on the site are estimates based on what is common in each country; they are reviewed regularly, and every dealer sets their own final price.
How content is written and reviewed
- Guides and FAQs are written in plain language and rely on verifiable facts: karat and unit weights, officially announced taxes and how each country's market works.
- We use AI tools to help draft and translate some text, and the site owner reviews every text before it is published.
- Numbers inside the text are filled in from the live prices themselves, so no outdated hand-typed figures stay on the page.
- Pages are reviewed when a country's taxes, currency peg or other key facts change.
What we don't do
- We don't give buy or sell advice and don't forecast prices.
- We don't publish paid content or advertising presented as information.
- We don't collect personal data to show prices. Details in the privacy policy (Arabic).
Reporting an error and corrections
If you see a price that looks wrong or incorrect information, email us at info@سعرالذهب.com with the page, country and time, ideally with a screenshot. We review every report, fix confirmed errors as quickly as possible and update the page directly. If the error comes from a data source, we stop showing the affected price until it is corrected.
